Created using machine learning technologies, the methodology behind the NCS Purchase Graph is to establish the mathematical “proximities” between U.S. households based on inter-departmental “seed” purchase data from multiple sources (frequent shopper data, e-commerce data, and purchase panel data) and geo-demographics attributes. The resulting correlations are used to assign households to behavioral clusters, with purchase flags for every US household.
