Data Collection Methodology

TV Data: Sourced from the Nielsen People Meter panel which is the basis for Nielsen’s TV ratings and Gracenote.

Radio data: Sourced from the Nielsen Portable People Meter panel which is the basis for Nielsen’s Radio ratings.

Credit Card and Debit Card Transactions: Sourced via Nielsen Buyer Insights accessing 80% of all credit card transactions and 30% of all debit card transactions across all major financial payment networks (Visa / MasterCard / Discover / Amex).

Leading Panels and Surveys: Survey data from the Keller Fay group, tracking individuals that are influential within their circles about issues, products and brands. Other sources include Nielsens Harris Poll online lifestyle profiler survey, Scarborough USA+ survey data, N-Score Celebrity Survey, and the Nielsen Online Panel.
